Our tour guide was very personable, funny and knowledgeable. I loved her Native American stories. She brought a cedar hat to show us, and treated us to some delicious home made smoked salmon dip. We couldn't ask for a more complete and stunning tour of the totems and rainforest trail.

The tour operator cancelled the morning of our scheduled activity, so I wasn’t sure how it would have turned out; hence, the average rating.

Wild Wolf Tours is a small female owned tour company. Tracy our guide (& owner of company) was AMAZING! She truly loves what she does and it shows. She's very knowledgeable on the area, customs and cultures in Alaska. We were able to see black bears and salmon spawning during our tour. I'd recommend this tour to anyone that's physically able to take the tour, as it does require the ability to walk for approximately 45min hike in the rainforest. If you're interested in supporting the local economy book with Wild Wolf Tours, you won't be disappointed!

Tracy was an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable and shared some wonderful stories with us about growing up in the area. Her knowledge of the flora and fauna was extensive. As a first First Nation descendant, her insight into the totems and their stories was very special. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us, Tracy!!!

Ketchikan is one of the stops for our Alaskan cruise. I booked this excursion thru TripAdvisor. Apparently Ketchikan rains a lot and this excursion will go on under all weather conditions. I strongly suggest that everyone should have prepared rain jackets and hiking shoes. Our guide Natalie is great! She has a lot of our door experience and very knowledgeable. She identified interesting plants, insects and animal track for us; explained patiently to my kids. We are lucky enough to see two bears fishing salmon during the hike! Overall it’s an interesting and easy excursion for city people like us.

I booked the three hour Rainforest Walk and Totem Park Tour through Wild Wolf Tours and absolutely loved it! My guide was Colin and I must have asked him every question under the sun, well, under the gray and rainy skies of Ketchikan. The hike was gorgeous .... no bears, thank goodness! I have stunning pictures and the Totem Park was extremely interesting. Colin brought me right down to Creek Street so I could shop when the tour was completed. I loved this shore excursion and the delicious salmon spread, the cookies and my professional guide! It was a great experience for me! Thank you!

In spite of drizzly start to our Ketchikan visit, tour guide Natalie Kastner did an fantastic job! Our small group was professionally guided on a rainforest hike with regular informative stops. Weather really a non-issue since most of the rain appeared to be deflected by the thick overhead canopy of trees. Second highlight on tour was experiencing Natalie's clear, informative explanations and passionate story telling of the historic Totems. By far the best tour on whole Alaskan cruise and highly recommended! Well done Natalie!

Colin was our tour guide. We were able to change the pick up location since we walked into town from the ship before the tour. Rode out of town for an easy hike through the rain forest. It was sunny and not rainy or damp in the rain forest due to unseasonably dry weather. They provided cold water bottles and provided an informative chat during the hike. A smoked salmon dip treat followed the walk and then a drive down to see totem poles. My son loves classic cars and Colin provided a special treat where in addition to totem poles, Potlatch Park also had a classic car collection. Nice conversation giving some insights as to what it’s like growing up and living in Ketchikan. Perfect little tour for our family. This and a nice hike through town and up Creek Street made for a full and enjoyable port visit.
