Arrive at Denali National Park -- the Murie Science and Learning Center provides the perfect base camp for exploring Alaska's best known national park (access is limited currently during covid - but is used as a resting point with what we can access).

We wanted to see Denali but didn’t want to drive as it was snowing. Our driver was great and gave us lots of information along the way and also kept my kids entertained with trivia. The park is mostly closed in the winter but the hiking trails around the visitors center are great and quite beautiful. We really enjoyed our day and would recommend it. Check their website for cost because the price listed on TripAdvisor is wrong. The drive Denali tour $199-229 depending on dates.

We had a fabulous day with Mike. He was very knowledgeable about the area and we enjoyed the ride to Denali very much. He took time to stop and point out interesting things along the way, as well as some great scenic views. Once inside the park we really enjoyed the snowshoe excursion and hike in the snow. We also loved the train ride back. This was a highlight of our trip!

Norm, our guide, was a friendly and knowledgeable source of information about Alaska, Denali, and the activities of Alaskan residents. He had a ready answer for almost any question. We were fortunate to see two moose along the drive. He shared photos of some of his activities (fishing, float plane, more), talked about trapping. At Denali, he led two walks, one shorter and one longer, for those in the party who wanted. He took one of our party back to hotel at the end of day to save a taxi fare. Great way to see and learn about interior Alaska and visit near one of our important national landmarks!

Awesome tour!!! Serena was the best!!! A must do!!!! We even went for a hike with snow shoes on!!! So much fun!!!

Don Kiely was an excellent tour guide. He was very kind and courteous and seemed really intent on us having a good tour. He was interesting to listen to as he related information about different areas along the way as well as the people and the history of those areas. When we got to Denali, we got to hike one of the nearby trails which had breathtaking views as well as interesting ice formations along the river. Again, his knowledge made the hike even better. Then we got to try out the snowshoes he brought. It was a perfect day!!!
